The President of the Fraternity acts much like a President in any other organization or company. The main duties of the President are to: represent Delta Sigma Phi in important meetings and dealings, inform Hammerheads of news affecting the chapter, manage the executive board positions, and serve as a leader for the chapter.


Vice President

The Vice President of the Fraternity acts as the Presidents “right hand man”. He is there to directly assist the President in his duties and also serves to inform the chapter of relevant issues affecting them and anything else deemed necessary.


Recruitment Director

The Recruitment Director is in charge of all dealings with recruitment, including: recruitment events, interviews, bid process, and more.


Treasurer

The Treasurer is in charge of the chapter’s funds. It’s a very important job and comes with a lot of responsibility. The Treasurer makes sure that Hammerhead’s dues are recorded and processed, allocates money for expenses, and other dealings with the chapter’s money.


Sergeant-At-Arms

The Sergeant-At-Arms is the regulator of the Fraternity. His job is to make sure that all brothers obey the laws of the chapter, known as by-laws. If Hammerheads do not obey the laws or act out of line, it is his job to issue the appropriate action for the brotherhood to take.




Secretary

The Secretary is in charge of important documents and records. It is his job to make sure that attendance is taken in certain events, dealings in chapter meetings are recorded, and any important dates or events are brought up when needed.
